Morning with the Horses

Last Saturday was another exciting day at the stables. Chato was more than willing to be my photo shoot victim. I’ve got a few great shots which I will post right as soon as I finish processing them.

The photo on the left is my favorite so far. I was following Chato and Maxine to the bull ring when I saw that little tinge of blue sky!!! Walah... with the green grass and the bay horse, the colors just brought out the beauty of Maxine.

I was able to photograph some of the polo ponies in the stables as well. It was a good morning indeed.

Kids... children... they are one of my favorite photography subjects.

Unfortunately, most of the kids I’ve photographed are family and friends’ kids, which practically spells PRIVATE! Thus, I can’t come up with a kid portfolio just yet.

I shall come up with something. :-)

Any tips? ;-)

Mighty Day

What makes our day great? A good morning kiss from our hubby... holding hands with the little one... a chat about baseball with the little boy... it can be everything and anything... it all depends on you.

Last Saturday, after 4 busy weekends, I got back on the horse. This time on another horse. I call him the Mighty B. So huge yet so gentle. My 40-minute ride was heavenly... exactly what I needed. Thanks again, Nins!

The blue skies with the tinges of white clouds, the green rolling hills, the brown cogon-grass-huts... they are mere elements of this grand masterpiece. Nothing extravagant... nothing luxurious... just the simple best things in life.
